An experienced cardiology team can perform all kinds of angiographies, angioplasties, stent implantations and valve procedures, in the cardiac catheterization laboratory which has 5 observation beds. Medical Technologies
Acibadem Bodrum Hospital’s Radiology Department boasts a 1.5 MRI, 256-slice computer tomography which can accurately image cardiac vessels in less than 6 seconds, a digital mammography, a digital x-ray machine, a panoramic x-ray machine, colored doppler ultrasonographs and a digital image archiving and transfer system (PACS), completely integrating Acıbadem Bodrum Hospital with rest of the Acıbadem Healthcare Group’s institutions. Nuclear Medicine infrastructure includes a gamma camera for cardiac, bone and whole-body sintigraphies and bone densitometry, as well as a PET-CT investment which, when completed will be another first in the region.

Comfort and safety of patients are of utmost importance in Acıbadem Bodrum Hospital’s smart building design, which not only monitors all systems and areas electronically 24/7, but also has a layout that minimizes the movement of patients throughout the hospital. There is also a heliport for the transfer of critical cases to the hospital.
Providing inpatient and outpatient services with 78 beds and 4 operating rooms, an emergency department with a separate access entrance for walk-ins and ambulances, special rooms for resuscitation, surgical and orthopedic intervention and 10 observation beds, 2 of which are specifically designed for children. The endoscopy suite, with 2 recovery beds, is equipped to perform upper and lower endoscopies and colonoscopies.
Realizing the need for highest-level intensive care in Bodrum and the surrounding areas, Acıbadem offers 4 intensive care units meeting the needs of different groups of critically ill patients: Neonatal intensive care unit, cardiovascular intensive care unit, coronary intensive care unit and a general (medical/surgical) intensive care units–with a total capacity of 20 beds. General intensive care unit has a unique design: single intensive care rooms for each patient with daylight and adjacent observation/visitation rooms for family creating a uniquely comfortable environment for Acıbadem Bodrum’s patients and their families.
