I came here for a consultation during the day shift. The hospital is very clean and the staff is very helpful. The doctors are very efficient and if necessary they will also provide the medication. I spent less than 2 hours here, including time to wait, the consultation with the doctor, wait for medication and time to pay the bill.

Came here for prudential health screening. Was told that the report will be ready in a week time. After a week, no one called. I have to call in to check. Thereafter they called back, I requested for report to be sent via email. No email was sent, I came down to collect. Registered and has been waiting for the last 10min. This is a far cry from another clinic I went for the same prudential health check. All the reports were ready on the same day and a doctor actually went through the report w me.

Do not like their double pricing policy! Have been to hospitals in Bangkok, Hong Kong and Cebu, Philippines. Never ever been asked to pay extra because I’m a tourist! Not a very human & caring attitude! As a result, I refused to take the appointment.

Visit here for health chekup. Average waiting time seemed to be 2 hrs, even with a reservation. Most people in waiting lounge were extremely unhappy. My husband has to rebook one of his test to another day because it turned out to be there were no slot at the very day he reserved a week ago. Clearly a very poor management. I even saw a guy mistakenly guided to have food before finishing his test and end up scheduling another visit just for this. Staffs seems hard working and nice but that didn’t really helped resolving backed up process.

I lived in three different countries. This hospital may be one of best one according to reports but one of most inefficiently manged one based on my experience. Prepare LOTS of time if you plan to visit here.

Generally an OK experience. Staff were all very kind and friendly. The medical equipment was modern. My specialist seemed reasonably competent.

Two criticisms: (a.) I would have liked to have seen a more international mix of doctors (though this is probably a regulatory issue and not the hospital’s fault) and (b.) all of the hospital rooms I saw were CARPETED. I don’t see how that can possibly be sanitary.

Went for the health screening earlier and was told that their slots for X ray and ultrasound are full. I spent two hours just to take blood tests and to see the doctor. I have to fast again because I’m doing liver ultrasound. I have to revisit the hospital again and I’m a bust mother of two kids. The staff were nice and apologetic. Wouldn’t better scheduling of appointments have helped? There are sufficient staff but consultation rooms are fixed. There is no way they can accept more appointments. So scheduling is important.

Clean and nice hospital. The dentists here are very friendly. However, there was one time when I received a last-minute phone call that my dentist couldn’t make it for an appointment. There should be a better scheduling system such that there are always some extra reserved slots with other dentists for patients who have already booked appointments, in case anything crops up.

A few months ago, I stayed 8 days in Raffles Hosp.

On the 4th day, my doctor ordered a transfer from ICU to the general ward. It was before mid-day then. This was followed by a very long wait. My relatives waited with me. It was evening time by the time they finally moved me. Then came a series of horrors:

1. My daughter drew the curtains and accidentally felt some wet sticky stuff.

2. The floor was littered with food flakes.

3. On the green mattress protector beneath my bed sheet was a blotch of stale blood stain (not from me)

Altogether revulsive. I still cringe at the recollection. It was evident that the room was not duly cleaned up.

Needed follow up treatment after surgery in Indonesia.
After having a horrible experience in another private Singaporean hospital I came to Raffels Hospital and they were competent and provided me with an excellent service that I couldn’t get better in my home country (Europe).
Price was reasonable.
If I need any further treatment I will definitively go back to Raffels!

worst experience. period..
1. got overcharged for a procedure.
2. undercharged for another test and asked to pay up later. but the test was supposed to be part of package we already paid for??
3. doctor totally not listening… recommended us another medication that was unsuitable. this was verified by an external doctor.
4. never called for a test result.
there’s something inherently wrong with the administration.. between the doctors and admin staff.
we were charged for medicine we didn’t use..strongly do not recommend.
extremely disappointing.

I went to Raffles Hospital 3 weeks ago for a medical checkup. I was told to report to the clinic at level 2 at 10am. When I reached the hospital, I was made to fill in a form, and waited for 15 minutes before the staff asked me head down to level 1 instead. Despite having made an appointment, I was made to wait close to 4 hours for my check up to be done, and I was made to wait in line with other walk in patients. I was asked to fast for my blood test, and had to wait 2 1/2 hours to get my blood test done by that time it was 12.30 pm.

I requested for my report to be send to me, which was supposed to have taken 1 week. It has been 3 weeks since, and still no sign of it. No calls, or emails, no communication from them.

Very poor service, very long waiting time, very bad processing. will never head back there again.
